Note: the only breakpoint that was working was the 'Break at first line', after that, the breakpoints didn't work. Do you still gain the magical benefits of a shield when wearing but not wielding it? Not the answer you're looking for? For remote debugging, add debugging option to java process and connect to it using Eclipse remote debugging options. I m debugging using Target runtime option. If you are debugging on a local WAS, then can you please verify if the ‘Skip All Breakpints' is enabled ? Should I trust a website which breaks when I use a complex password? Go to Run->Debug Configurations then double click on "Remote Java Application".

Here's what worked in my case: deleted the project check it back out from svn import it into Eclipse again run "mvn eclipse:eclipse" Since the project is also a Groovy/Http-bulder/junit-test project, his comment is here Start the server in debug mode, wait for it to complete initialization, and then run the debug configuration. Should I report it? Eclipse Run Skip All Breakpoints For debug port i have placed log at last of all replies. 3. Already in debug mode and the break point is checked. *ok ended up deleting the whole project and checking it out again.
Try rebuilding the app using those source files and debug that.
