- Change it to something else Ex: CTRL+ALT+Space Apply and close.
- Pressing all of the modifier keys did nothing.

Happened on Snow Leopard, Lion, and Mountain Lion. his comment is here My thought is that it has to do with key bindings in general, and any application that provides overrides for defaults in the OS (this is a pretty huge assumption, so Glad that other people had this problem, otherwise I'd still be looking for the cause. Removed chinese Keyboard & restarted eclipse. That fixed it for me, but you can also check the Advanced Key Settings tab to make sure that none of the keyboard shortcuts that are set include Ctrl-Space. Happened to me too, and the fix worked. I recently encountered one weird keyboard malfunction when the backspace key on my mac keyboard stopped working. I'm also on a Mac, and this has been happening to me occasionally for at least 1.5 years. Helpfully, it's not called autocomplete or anything like that - it's called Content Assist. Is there any way for a planet orbiting a red dwarf in the habitable zone to not be tidally locked?
On my personal computer I only have one language set up (English (UK)), but on the university computers there are loads - French, German, Italian, Chinese (simplified) etc. How to handle swear words in quote / transcription? By pressing and releasing all modifier keys the issues often perish. Also from Edit menu these options are hidden.

Thanks a lot! You can find out what languages you have set up by going to Control Panel -> Region and Language -> Keyboards and Languages (tab) and then Change Keyboards (again, how obvious…). How? Hope this helps someone...
