probably has something to do with the doors being locked/unlocked. Open car with key (setting off alarm) 2. If you're working with the electrical system, disconnect the battery before beginning. - Always catch fluids in appropriate containers and properly dispose of any fluid waste.
- Fixable, but a bit of a pig!
- Turn key to position 1 five times very quickly 2.
- In order to re-program multiple keys, simply grab your 2nd key after step 3, and do the same thing.
- Problem solved.
- Try to get a second opinion from an independent shop...

Keep in mind that when your car was serviced before, parts may have been replaced with different size fasteners used in the replacement.
