I hope they gave you the X5 since it has a longer stem, which accounts for the increased distance to the hood insulation so your falsing issue won't return. The REMOTE KEY BATTERY warning is one of the PRIORITY 2 warnings of the HIGH instrument cluster (the one with the 20-digit alpha/numeric display). Yes, I'm using position 1.

A shop with the proper scan tools could tell you what is wrong. Where are these fuses located? Report back.
