Dvd-r Not Working On Mac


the issue is that is does not READ the disc. Therefore, it is most likely an issue with the macbook. I LOVE this thing! I am getting a new drive soon.

I recently bought a couple Children's Games from the Apple Store in KC... My DVD drive on my iMac frequently will not read DVD's and Software... Why (and when) does pattern matching with f[__] perform MUCH more quickly than _f? Anar here... https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1684759?tstart=0

The Apple tech had to open her up to get the disc (CD) out. I thought that Macs with Tiger couldn't run OS 9. Works with movies, though. Tried all my USB ports, the drive was powering on and spinning but my MacBook wouldn't recognize it. Also, the disk image failed to appear on the desktop and the DVD was spat back out. It worked once before, and apparently DVD-Rs should pose no problems, just like the first and only one I have managed to burn.
