I have this same keyboard for over 8 years now, and it always works fine, so no, it's not a hardware issue - these issues typically never are. Comprehensive troubleshooting instructions are provided.(see screenshot below). Much later printers and Computer terminals that would use Escape sequences often would take more than one following byte as part of a special sequence. Any suggestions?

This time I scanned all progs loaded @ startup using "Quick Startup 2.0" & there it was "filter Keys" was turned on. Reply NoHow : I'm using windows 7 and also have no such command as "mskey". Try to start your computer in safe mode & check whether the escape key is running or not.
