What I do is copy the text out of each cell and paste the data in Notepad, then delete the row. One way around the problem is to use a macro to set the row height to the desired height. In case of columns the max width is 254.86 (1789 pixels) I used this code for demonstration purpose. Why the line at the bottom of the first block and not in the second block? Cell c2 is merged up to k2 Could this be the reason why all columns are not auto fitting? If you are using an earlier version (Excel 2003 or earlier), this tip may not work for you.
