This is my experience, I can not find how to change .tt automatically. I don't getnervousmodifying the .csproj files and this is a 1 time change. I compiled the solution and I have no error, however, I can not display data in the UI. But in Solution Explorer it is not showing the auto-generated .cs file for the table I have added newly under .tt file. Ive been searching for hours on how to best separate the POCO layer from the EF project, this is exactly what I needed! - The biggest beef I have with it is that the models can get out of sync with the database and saving the EDMX file and running the "Update Model from Database…"
- You also can use LoopGen to generate POCO classes and DbContext from your existing database.
