How can I force the drivers in, no matter what driver I try I get the "theres no camera installed message, please plug one up and try again. eee pc onboard webcam not recognized in xubuntu SOLVED $ sudo modprobe uvcvideo to load the kernal had to add "uvcvideo" to the directory /etc/modules to get it to load automatically.
