It seems like everything works, even got Netflix working out of the box. I have noticed too, that I have a VLC icon at the upper right of my desktop even when VLC isn't running. Notice, that you only have a few times you can run setregion, usually 4-5 times. I have all the dvdcss codecs/libraries installed but have not messed with the regionset mostly b/c I don't know that is the problem and I'm not willing to further mess with Ses http://linvdr.org/projects/regionset/ for proper region code. English is not my native language.
